Biography

Phil Arbon has been painting for over 40 years. Using different styles in Watercolours, Pastels, Acrylics and Oils he paints passionately on subjects from the West of Scotland: from the busy buildings in Paisley to the barren beaches of the Western Isles he finds no shortage of inspiration and enthusiasm to paint. Phil is a member of Paisley Artists and also runs acrylic landscape painting classes in Paisley.

He also gives painting demonstrations to clubs, leisure groups, church groups, etc. Phil began as a Mechanical Engineer in Peterborough (his home town) but later followed a calling into Church Ministry in Renfrewshire. He is now an itinerant speaker and involved in equipping and training. However, throughout his varied career painting has always been his passion and his paint box a colourful expression of his Christian Faith.
